  we purchased this as a replacement for our son’s mobile. i love that this wasnt a wind up mobile, it was battery operated and had an on/off button to preserve battery life. we only used this for maybe 4 months as my son grew tall enough to pull on the mobile so we had to pack it away, but we didnt have to replace the batteries once and it was used multiple times every day. the sound was not overwhelming loud but not too quiet that we couldnt hear it over the sound machine, its a great volume for the nursery. it does have buttons to change the modes from spinning/spinning and music/just music, and i believe a skip melody button? it fit with our original mobile set up so no need to buy a whole new set to make this work. i would definitely purchase this again or recommit if your original mobile stopped spinning or making music!

  I received a Cloud Island mobile as a baby shower gift in 2018 and wanted to use the mobile for my second son. Over the years of use and storage, the motor broke. This replacement is perfect and almost identical to the original; this is only missing the white noise feature that the original has. I was really just trying to get the mobile to spin again as we ended up with multiple sound machines.
